Groupe SNEF Awards their HLO, Helideck Fire Fighting & Radio Frequency (VHF) Safety Training Contract to NOIAA LTD
NOIAA Corp has recently introduced its new training call Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO), Aviation Radio Communication (VHF) and Helideck Fire Fighting through its Middle East & Africa Operations (MEA) subsidiary, NOIAA Ltd.
This is the first Helicopter Landing Officer training our MEA is doing in these regions, said Mr. True who is the newly appointed Operations & Public Relations Director for Middle East & Africa. ExxonMobil being a safety conscious company has imposed on most of its sub-contractor across Middle East & Africa to carry out this training before they could be awarded any contract in any of their offshore oil platform.
NOIAA Corp, was contacted through its MEA subsidiary operations office, NOIAA LTD in Cameroon, to carry out these trainings (HLO, VHF and Helideck Fire Fighting) with Groupe SNEF, a French company based in France.
Helicopter Landing Officers are people charged with the overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the helicopter landing area and associated equipment either in offshore or onshore installations. The HLO is also in control of associated helicopter operations, ensuring that helicopter landings, passenger and freight movements are done in a safe and expeditious manner.
NOIAA LTD is one of the leading On/Offshore Maritime Safety Training company in the Middle East & Africa and is well equipped with highly trained professional trainers and sophisticated training facilities to handle Helicopter Landing Officer, VHF training and Helideck Fire Fighting.
Groupe SNEF trainees said they were very much satisfied with the knowledge they had acquired from the Helicopter Landing Officer training. At NOIAA safety is our main concern. Our core value. We are committed to support various high risk industries through our safety training courses. We are particularly concerned about Safety, satisfaction and wellbeing of our client’s personnel.
Furthermore, the personnel of SNEF commented that with the knowledge gained from these trainings, they are able to detect;
- Hazards of helicopter operations, dangerous areas, entry and escape routes (helideck and helicopter), (personal) protective equipment to be used, cleaning, maintenance and completion of available equipment,
- Command and control the preparation of the helideck and associated (fire-fighting) equipment for landing and take-off of a helicopter.
- Lead and act as controller during helicopter fuel loading operations, as well as keeping the relevant register.
- Lead and act as controller for boarding and disembarking of persons and the loading and the loading and unloading of freight (including dangerous materials)
Most of the trainees from SNEF confirmed to have done these trainings years ago from other offshore safety training centres in Nigeria and the UK but the method of which NOIAA’s instructors, taught them these trainings were more explicit. “I can now see the difference between NOIAA and other local competitors” one of the participants said.
If you are looking for a well equipped safety training centre to do any of the safety trainings mentioned above, NOIAA On/offshore Maritime Safety Training Centre is your best option in West and Central Africa. It has sophisticated and modern safety training equipment with young instructors delivering training sessions at a professional standard.
