Become a scaffolding expert with NOIAA LTD

As part of its main mission which is safety training for high-risk industries with specialized training programs in safety, survival and emergency response, NOIAA LTD trains GOLAR LNG Cameroon agents to work at heights on scaffold. At the end of this training, they will be able to assess risks, know the regulations, assemble, disassemble, use and check scaffolds.

Scaffolding (a fixed or mobile temporary structure built to construct or repair a building) may be erected, dismantled or substantially altered only under the supervision of a competent person and by workers who have received adequate training specific to the operations envisaged. The content of such training shall include in particular:

• understanding the plan for erecting, dismantling or altering scaffolding ;
• Safety during assembly, dismantling or alteration of scaffolding;
• Measures to prevent the risk of falling persons or objects;
• Safety measures in the event of changing weather conditions that could be detrimental to persons by affecting the safety of the scaffolding.

In the end, the objectives of this training have been achieved, in the sense that the agents of GOLAR LNG Cameroon are now able to assess risks, know the regulations, assemble, disassemble, use and check scaffolding.
