BOURBON contracts NOIAA LTD to train delegates on HUET

1 year on, NOIAA LTD is a sell-out success story in the offshore safety training industry in Cameroon and Central Africa. Since its inception in August 2017, the approved offshore safety training provider with head office in Limbe, South West region has quickly established itself as a strong safety training brand in the oil and gas industry. With over 200 offshore workers from top oil and gas companies in Central Africa trained to date,  NOIAA LTD is a  good example of an offshore safety training company in Africa that keeps up the momentum of its safety training programs all year round and does especially a good job of delivering its intense offshore training exercises  in a simulated environment to perfectly mimic real life incidents and better prepare individuals for emergency situations while working offshore. Its strong commitment to contribute to reducing the number and severity of injuries in offshore workplaces through its rigorous safety training programs has led the company to work with top oil and gas companies like SNH du Cameroun, ADDAX, PERENCO, BORR Drilling Gabon, GLENCORE PETROCHAD and more recently BOURBON who contracted NOIAA LTD to train another batch of delegates on Helicopter Under Water Escape Training(HUET) at its HUET offshore training center in Limbe.

BOURBON, a French marine company with headquarters in Paris, France has awarded NOIAA LTD a second contract to equip its delegates with Helicopter Under Water Escape knowledge and skills. This contractual obligation was established after an initial HUET training contract between BOURBON and NOIAA LTD was done successfully and professionally by NOIAA LTD. The lasting impression from the previous HUET training that took place on the 22^nd of March 2019 at NOIAA’s HUET training center in Limbe lured the French marine company to issue another training contract to NOIAA LTD, a subsidiary of NOIAACORP with main office in 2425 West Loop South, Suite 200 Houston, Texas 77027 USA.

The training was a mix of practical exercises with learning the theory about various helicopter escape techniques in case of emergency ditching, deployment of equipment and various emergency procedures and when to use them. The practical exercises involved boarding a HUET simulator and performing escapes in various positions of rotation, and at various levels of submersion. The objective of the training was to equip the delegates from BOURBON who use helicopter as a means of transportation with escape techniques in the case of a helicopter ditching on sea.
