NOIAA LTD Signs Strategic MoU with ADES Group to Deliver Specialized Offshore and Maritime Safety Training in the Middle East & Africa

NOIAA LTD, Middle East and Africa Operations, through its Onshore/Offshore Maritime Safety Training Centres, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ADES Group for the provision of specialized offshore training services.
NOIAA LTD is a subsidiary of NOIAA Corporation, whose global headquarters is located at 2425 West Loop South (Suite 200), Houston, Texas 77027, USA.
The agreement covers training delivery for marine and drilling crews onboard the offshore drilling rig ADM 501, which is currently mobilizing to commence drilling operations for Addax Petroleum Cameroon Company S.A. in Cameroon.
Scope of Training Under the MoU
The signed MoU mandates that all required minimum training certifications be completed prior to contract commencement. The training programs include:
- OGUK Offshore Medical Fitness Certificate – All crew
- OPITO-Approved BOSIET (including HUET) – All crew
- IWCF or IADC Driller Level Well Control Certification – Assistant Drillers
- Stage 3 Crane Operator Certification – Crane Operators, Deck Pushers, and Deck Foremen
- Banksman & Slinger Competence Assessment Certificate – Deck Supervisors and Deck Pushers
- Banksman & Slinger Stage 1 Certification – All drill crew
- Banksman & Slinger Certification – Roustabouts and Roughnecks
- 6G Welding Certification – Welders
- GMDSS Radio Operator License – Radio Operators
These internationally recognized certifications ensure that all personnel meet global offshore safety, operational, and competency standards prior to deployment.

Following a press briefing after the MoU signing, NOIAA’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chris YOK, stated that he was not surprised that ADES Group selected NOIAA to provide offshore training services in Cameroon.
