NOIAA Instructors visit Heli-Union Cameroon base in Bonapriso, Douala following OPITO recommendations!

The National Offshore Institute of Australia and America, Limited (NOIAA LTD), Middle East & Africa Operations On/offshore Maritime Safety Training Centre which is one of the subsidiary of NOIAA Corporation base at 2425 West Loop South, (Suite 100) Houston, Texas 77027 USA, is just from signing an MOA with Heli-Union branch Cameroon which is as well a subsidiary of Heli-Union France.

A press release from the office of Mr. Elliot C. SYCAMORE, who is NOIAA’s, Middle East and Africa Operations, Vice President & Technical Director said “the main reason of the signing of this MOA this afternoon is for NOIAA instructors to often visit Heli-union and see the types of helicopters used to travail offshore to oil and gas installations. Such site visits are a requirement of OPITO, which is the highest certification when it comes to the oil and gas industries in the world”.

Mr. SYCAMORE, went ahead to tell the journalists after their visit to Heli-Union base in Bonapriso Douala that, he is “more than happy since they have made this visitation base on the requirements from Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO) management during their audit in our On/offshore Maritime Safety Training Centre here in Cape Limboh. We are fulfilling our ongoing mission based on the requirements from OPITO for our Instructors to make a visit to an offshore drilling rig, which we just did some few months ago with Addax Petroleum drilling rig. I can say, we are continually working to equip our Instructors in current knowledge to carry out their daily trainings to clients perfectly”.

NOIAA LTD, MEA Operations, Cameroon subsidiary On/offshore Maritime Safety Training Centre is the only institution with OPITO accreditation in the whole of Central Africa Regional and number Eight in the whole of the African continent. Heli-Union Cameroon workers will have to undergo the OPITO BOSIET training as well in order to respect the norms that governs the industry to be on the safe direction.
