NOIAA LTD Trains APAVE Ivory Coast Employees on OPITO BOSIET Training
APAVE Ivory Coast, through Mr. Alain LEPRÊTRE who is the Business Unit Manager of Golf de Guinee for APAVE a group of 8 countries. (Ivory coast, Burkina Faso, Benin, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Togo, Niger) formulated a request through email to NOIAA LTD, Cameroon to train his Ivorian employees on OPITO BOSIET training.
Following a press release from Ms. Christine TIKUYANG, who plays a double role as Personal Assistant and Sales, Information Officer to the Chief Executive Officer of NOIAA’s Middle East, the Oceanic and Africa Operations said, she is not surprise seeing oil and gas companies from Senegal, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Tunisia, Angola, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Liberia coming to do OPITO BOSIET training in NOIAA LTD, On/offshore Maritime Safety Training and Accommodation Centre here in Cape Limboh. She went ahead to say that all this is because of the investment recently made by NOIAA on its modern multipurpose On/offshore Maritime Safety Training Centre situated in the West Coast of Cape Limboh, Victoria now Limbe in the Republic of Cameroon.
Mr. Alain LEPRÊTRE of APAVE Group said “the number of fatal accidents and deaths at the work place in the oil and gas sector nowadays recognized by the Health Insurance per year is not acceptable. A culture of prevention must be disseminated from initial training, during continuing education and among company managers.” That is why he has to choose an OPITO approved Centre, that is, NOIAA LTD, MEA operations to train his employees on BOSIET.
Two figures that reinforce NOIAA’s conviction is that there can be no sustainable progress without safety in a company and that remind us of the importance of NOIAA’s commitment, materialized in its Raison d’Etre, to a safer world.
More so, Mr. Kouassi Raphael KOFFI of APAVE Ivory Coast said he is so much impressed with what he had gained from the OPITO BOSIET training offered by NOIAA. He said he has done BOSIET three times in different countries abroad but that of NOIAA is an exceptional case, “so wonderful and unbelievable.” The staff of NOIAA are so welcoming, friendly and always smiling, ready to help in case of needs. He said in his interview that NOIAA being an OPITO Approved Centre was not just a joke but out of merits, with all the qualified instructors and modern safety training facilities used for the training. Again he said that, he is inviting all oil and gas, drilling rigs and other service providers around Africa to send their employees for all On/offshore Maritime Safety Training needs to NOIAA in Cameroon as he honestly envies this training Centre He went ahead to say, he is convinced that improving health and safety in the workplace is the foundation of all progress in the social, economic, environmental and societal dimensions of our activities. And that we should be committed to prevent, control and manage risks of all kinds. I am going back to Ivory Coast and I will personally publicize NOIAA in all over my country following what I have seen here in Cameroon.
Finally, Ms. Doumo Ndowou NELLY, who is the Communication Lead of NOIAA Cameroon Operations office went further to say that, for several years now, NOIAA has been pursuing the objective of “Zero Accidents”, which is reflected in the field by the strengthening of a common Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture and the implementation of an active risk prevention policy, at all levels in the oil and gas, Telecommunication and Construction sectors etc.…. That each employee, through their daily actions, their professionalism, their spirit of initiative and their ability to adapt, is a key player in the commitments to preserve human life and ecosystems.
