After several years of our longstanding business relationship with PERENCO, the Oil and Gas company has entrusted us(NOIAA LTD) with another safety training contract to train another batch of its workers on Advanced Sea Survival.
NOIAA’s continous commitment to delivering competence-led offshore training services in its well-equipped training facility has left a lasting impression in the decison making corridors of PERENCO. An impression that has convinced the company PERENCO to offer another safety training contract to NOIAA LTD to equip a 10th group of PERENCO’s employees with Advanced Sea Survival knowledge and skills.
The 2-days Advanced Sea Survival training was conducted at NOIAA’s training center located in Cape Limboh, in the South West region of Cameroon. It was a mix of theory and practical exercises and the participants were equipped with the knowledge on danger and symptoms of hypothermia and drowning, life saving appliances(LSA) and personal protective equipment(PPE), emergency and safety procedures on installations, vessels and wind turbine. The practical session involved various sea survival, personal and group survival techniques and sea rescue.
After the training, crew members who attended the training session lauded with satisfaction and enthusiasm the quality of the training and the professionalism of the trainers.
One of the participants, Doualla Etongo Dissake Marlyse said: ” The training was very satisfactory both the theoritical and practical sessions. The practical session was very effective and i am indeed satisfied with the Sea Survival training from NOIAA LTD.”
Another attendee, Nekam Remy said: ” The trainer was exceptionally good and had a mastery of the course material. The training was very effective.”
This training session is the 10th NOIAA LTD is doing with PERENCO this year with over 120 PERENCO workers trained in between. This marks a significant show of safety training cooperation between the two companies and previews PERENCO’s strong health and safety culture which aims at making sure its workers can return home safe at the end of the day.
NOIAA LTD is a safety training company in Cameroon offering Sea Survival training to companies and individuals who work on offshore platforms or are required to travel to an offshore location by boat.
