NOKIA Africa Division Awards their QHS Safety Training Contract to NOIAA LTD, Middle East & Africa Operations.
NOKIA, one of Europe’s first independent telecommunication companies with a worldwide portfolio of assets resulting from a unique expertise has attributed one of the ever biggest safety training contracts to the National Offshore Institute of Australia and America, Corporation (NOIAA Corp), with Global Corporate main office in 2425 West Loop South, (Suite 200) Houston, Texas 77027 USA, which is the mother company to NOIAA LTD, Middle East & Africa Operations.
NOIAA has signed this contract with NOKIA Africa Division for the provision of the following safety training;
Electrical Safety
Work and Rescue at Height
Defensive Driving (4×4)
The General Manager of NOIAA LTD, Middle East & Africa Operations, Mr. Elliot Campbell SYCAMORE who is of New Zealand origin, who signed on behalf of his company, said immediately after the signing that, among the companies that bid for this contract, only NOIAA was awarded to offer the said trainings because NOIAA’s training Centre is well equipped with modern training facilities, Accreditations and with well trained instructors that have completed Train The Trainers courses locally and abroad. Furthermore, continued Mr. SYCAMORE, NOIAA is the only Safety training company in the West, Central, East and North African Region boasting Instructors that are trained and globally recognized as Assessors and Verifiers. This is an important factor when International companies like NOKIA are selecting a training provider. This ensures not only that the training be of a high standard, but also that any examinations or practical tests are judged only by those qualified to do so, something other training companies here do not offer.
This contract is for NOIAA to train not only the workers of NOKIA Africa Division but also train all its sub-contractors. So far so good, the trainings which are currently going on with some of the sub-contractors have been very successful and deemed satisfactory by the trainees.

Mr. James TRUE, Operation & Relationship Manager for NOIAA LTD, Middle East and Africa Operations said, “his experience of NOIAA in the field of QHSE training is non comparable in Africa”. He also said during a press conference that, “ NOIAA is committed to ensure that our operations respect the environment in particular as regards the emission of greenhouse gases, infra-red waves and oil or chemical discharge. To that effect, we are contracted to train the staff of Nokia Africa Division and its sub-contractors on the health and safety tips towards avoiding human danger”.
The newly appointed Business Development Manager for NOIAA LTD, Africa Operations, Mrs. ONGOBIAKATOM Baboule Delima, said I am happy to be part of this NOIAA family and working under this present General Manager has always been my dream. I am happy to say, NOKIA Africa, has chosen NOIAA LTD, Middle East & Africa Operations to train all her staffs and including all their sub-contractors on trainings such as Work and Rescue at Height, Electrical Safety, Defensive Driving, Basic First Aid, Fire Fighting, etc.. in the whole of Africa and the Middle East, this wasn’t a day job and I can say thanks to the presentation done and visit of the management of NOKIA Africa in our Training Centre situated in the West Coast of Cape Limboh, in Victoria now Limbe II.
The Account Manager of NOIAA LTD, Cameroon Operations in charge of NOKIA Cameroon Division, Mrs. Isabel NDJENGOUA said, during one of the opening of a training session that among other local safety training companies she has worked in the past, she has now realized the difference while working with NOIAA LTD. NOIAA has a huge budget put in place for the trainings of all her local and expatriates staffs and mostly all NOIAA’s Instructors to carry out abroad a Train the Trainers courses.
