Black Africa Builders Awards: How is your feelings this evening after receiving this Awards?
Mola Chris YOK: Today the 22nd of January 2023, is a remarkable day for me and the entire company of NOIAA. Not just because of this Award but the honor given to me to be part of the Black Africa Builders Awards group. I would go further by saying, this year 2023 has been one of the most wonderful years for me and the entire company of NOIAA because we have received one of the best and highest Accreditation called OPITO, which means “Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization”. This implies NOIAA is certified to carry out on/offshore Safety Trainings such as Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) Emergency Breathing System, Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) Emergency Breathing System and Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) Emergency Breathing System. Saving lives has always been my passion since I was young and that is what our company is doing today day in day out. Furthermore, this month of January also brings a smiling on my face as I will be plus one on the 25 of January this 2023.
Black Africa Builders Awards: Is OPITO, the only Accreditation that NOIAA has?
Mola Chris YOK: No, NOIAA is also accredited by WAHA which means “Working at Heights Association of Australia”. This means NOIAA offers Confined Spaces, Work and Rescue at Height safety trainings. NOIAA is also accredited and a member of the British Safety Council. NOIAA is as well accredited by the Central African Countries Ministry of Transport, Maritime Authority and In-Water Ways on the following courses, STCW 95, STCW 2010 and ISPS Code trainings. Honestly speaking, I don’t see any other Accreditation in the world that NOIAA hasn’t obtained, so what else can people say. This was my dream when I was still about 18 years old and all I can say as of now is that this young generation should continue and copy from us. I can say I have achieved my dream as of now, but I think there is more ahead and this generation just need to invent, innovate and create new ideas to better the future.
